I 'm who writes a review book for my class history of the United States over a book on German troops in Florida during WWII. I 'VE not the first ever written a review of the book. The teacher said that the review was basically our opinion, so I was wondering if I should include specific details from the book in it. THANKS!

It’s your opinion. Point out as much as you didn’t like and as much as you did like. There is really no specific criteria when writing a book review except that it has to be about the book. It doesn’t have to be all of the bad points; it can be about the good points as well.
Good luck!
You could write the details and explain your opinion of them. A review is basically your opinion of something. You want to review all the components of the book, the plot, the characters. Of course, it you were just to ramble on with details of the book instead of your opinion, the reader of that review would get board. Remember, the review is your opinion, not the plot
